Spring 2016 One Day Workshop
The TACERA One Day Workshop Series continued with great success on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 in Decatur, Texas at the Civic Center. This Spring One Day Workshop had over 40 registered attendees, 8 sponsors and the best road training program in the state. I would like to express my sincere thanks to the great group of people that made this workshop a grand event. First a big Thank You to our TACERA Office Staff (Markie and Selina). They did a great job with organizing and executing this day long workshop. Next, Thank You to our Platinum Sponsors (Hill Country Site Supply & Wright Asphalt), Gold Sponsors (GMCO, TXAPA & Western Emulsions) and last but not least our Silver Sponsors (Ergon, Heartland & Lime Association of Texas). These sponsors supplied our attendees with valuable information to be use in their road professional jobs. Finally, I would like to say Thank You to our TxLTAP training partners at UT – Arlington. They did a great job with all their presentations.
The TACERA Board of Directors created this One Day Workshop Series about 5 years ago to fulfill our mission of bringing valuable training to the boots on the ground county road workers around the state. We wanted to reach out to the many county personnel who cannot make it to the Annual TACERA Conference in San Antonio each year. Our next One Day Workshop will be on August 4, 2016 in Anahuac, Texas.
